Transforming a shared vision into meaningful service requires more than good intentions; it demands trust, perseverance, and partnerships that transcend borders. For the Rotary Club of Pag-asa, the journey toward realizing its Global Grant is driven by a commitment to improve lives through better access to life-sustaining dialysis care.

On July 24, this vision took another significant step forward as RC Pag-asa welcomed Saechangwon Rotary Club, one of its international partners in the Global Grant. The delegation joined a courtesy call and hospital tour at Cainta Municipal Hospital, highlighting the initiative that will provide hemodialysis machines and strengthen the hospital’s capacity to serve patients in need of dialysis treatment.

The visit was made possible through the support of the Office of Mayor Johnielle Keith Nieto, represented by Edmon Pascual, Chief of Hospital Dr. Sierra, Hospital Administrator Dr. Javier, and the hospital team. This milestone was also made possible through the guidance of Immediate Past District Governor Veronica Yu, alongside the continued support of Past District Governor Johnny Yu, PP Rene Cantos, and the dedicated members of RC Pag-asa.

Beyond the project, the delegation experienced Filipino culture through a Marikina cultural tour, fellowship lunch at Jollibee, and the official Sister Club Agreement signing. The day concluded with dinner at Myeongdong Korean Gastropub.

With the support of Rotary International Districts 3722, 3590, 3502, and 3620, and partners including Jinju Bibong Rotary Club, this journey demonstrates Rotary’s global network in action. The impact goes beyond the machines; it brings hope to patients, strengthens partnerships, and turns Service Above Self into lasting impact.
